There are a number of routes that Year 11 can follow at the end of the year including:

Post-16 education in a college or school-based Sixth Form

If a student wants to apply for Sixth Form study then the system we use is MyChoice16 Information on using this system can be found below as can the Sixth Form open evening dates for the local area.

Creating a profile on the MyChoice16 site
Information on apprenticeships can be found in a number of places:
www.apprenticeships.org.uk – The main National Apprenticeship website where students can register and apply for apprenticeship vacancies in their chosen occupation

For those going to university, applications are done through UCAS and we would advise students to visit prospective universities before applying:

University is not for everyone so there are a number of information sources available to help a student decide on a path:
